Small Excavators in the Landscaping Industry

Small Excavators in the Landscaping Industry

Hill piling landscape: When creating micro-terrain landscape, small excavators can dig and pile soil from one place to another, shaping undulating hills.

Digging gullies to create ravines: capable of digging gullies of various shapes and depths for simulating natural streams, ravines and other landscapes.

For example, in large-scale ecological landscape projects, the small excavator digs winding gullies along the designed routes, which can be followed by

arranging the water system to form a stream landscape, adding dynamic beauty to the whole landscape.

Levelling the land

Fine levelling: For some landscape areas with high requirements on terrain levelling, such as the greens of golf courses or the courtyards of high-end

residences, the small excavator can carry out fine land levelling work. It can accurately control the digging depth and levelling range, so that the land

reaches the ideal slope and flatness to meet the requirements of subsequent landscape design and construction.

Slope adjustment: according to the needs of landscape design, the small excavator can adjust the slope of the land. For example, in the construction of

roof gardens, the slope of the roof is adjusted to the angle suitable for plant growth and drainage by the small excavator to ensure that the landscape

is both beautiful and practical.

Tree planting pit excavation

Precise positioning excavation: When landscaping, small excavators can precisely locate tree planting points according to the design drawings, and

then excavate planting pits of the right size. This helps to ensure that the root system of the trees can be fully extended, providing a good space for

the growth of the trees.

Water Body Landscape Construction

Artificial Pool Excavation

Shape shaping: the small excavator can excavate various shapes of artificial pools, such as round, oval, irregular shapes, etc., according to the drawings

of landscape design. It can better control the edge curve and depth change of the pool in the excavation process, making the shape of the pool more

natural and beautiful.

Depth control: According to the function of the pool (such as fish farming, aquatic planting, etc.) and landscape requirements, the depth of the pool is

precisely controlled. For example, for koi ponds, small excavators can dig the pond to a suitable depth to ensure that the koi have enough space to

move around; for shallow ponds with aquatic plants, they can be excavated to a shallower depth to meet the needs of plant growth.

Stream and Waterfall Foundation Excavation

Stream channel excavation: When creating a natural-style stream landscape, the small excavator first needs to excavate the stream channel. It can

simulate the shape of natural streams, excavate trenches with changing widths and meanders, and create different slopes at the bottom of the trenches

to create a natural water flow effect.

Waterfall foundation construction: for waterfall landscape, small excavator should dig out the waterfall outlet and reservoir. By precisely controlling the

height and shape of the outlet, as well as the size and depth of the cistern, the waterfall can present the best ornamental effect. At the same time, the

small excavator can also be excavated in the waterfall downstream of the water pool, increasing the sense of hierarchy of the landscape.

Hardscape foundation excavation

Plaza and car park foundation excavation

Site levelling and compaction preparation: When constructing hard landscapes such as squares and car parks, small excavators first need to excavate

and level the site. It removes weeds, tree roots and other obstacles within the site, then excavates the ground to the elevation required by the design

and performs preliminary compaction.

Road Foundation Excavation

Road base excavation: In the construction of landscape roads, the small excavator is responsible for excavating the road base. It removes the soft soil

layer on the ground and excavates the hard soil or rock to form a solid road base according to the designed width and depth of the road. For example,

in the construction of walking paths in parks, the small excavator digs the roadbed to a certain depth, then compacts and lays the bedding layer to

ensure that the walking paths are level and stable.

Drainage system with excavation: in order to ensure smooth drainage of the road, the small excavator needs to cooperate with the excavation of the

foundation trench of the drainage ditch or drainage pipe while excavating the roadbed. This can effectively remove rainwater, avoid waterlogging of

the road and extend the service life of the road.
